Andryk Logistik is on the road for customers. They provide secure logistics solutions and have added solar panels to their fleet to ensure environmental sustainability
Andryk Logistik GmbH specialises in bulk goods transport and container handling. The family-owned company, based in Brühl, Germany, operates under the motto: We know no logistical problems, only solutions. They have now decided to install solar panels on their entire fleet to tackle a growing demand for a greener transport industry.
More than 50 years of experience
It all started back in 1961, when Walter Andryk started his company, Vognmandsfirmaet Andryk. Walter’s two sons, Detlef and Udo, decided to carry on their father’s life’s work and in 1998 the company was transformed into the current Andryk Logistik GmbH. Centrally located directly at the freight railway station in Brühl, Rhineland, in the economic centre between Cologne and Bonn, just 10 km south of the central motorway junction Cologne South. Today, the company has 50 employees and around 50 lorries.
The company philosophy is quality throughout the organization
The core principle of the company is quality and loyalty, which is reflected in their attractive range of quality-orientated freight forwarding and logistics services at reasonable prices. Their pursuit of this philosophy has attracted new customers who value quality and dedication as much as they do. As a result, they expect the highest level of delivery reliability and adherence to deadlines, which the company ensures through flexible and customized solutions for each customer’s needs. The company’s customer service, transport system, internal structures and skilled employees are all subject to the same principle: constant improvement. This sustained effort has been the key to their growth from a modest company to a medium-sized family business over 50 years in the world of transport and logistics.
They take care of everything from A to B and everything in between
The company’s fleet, consisting mainly of MAN trucks, is all equipped with the latest in communication and monitoring equipment. It is important that both the company and the customer can track the freight. The entire fleet is maintained in the company’s own workshop, which takes care of everything from regular servicing to safety inspections. All of the company’s drivers are experienced and undergo ongoing training to ensure maximum safety and punctuality. Competent and committed employees are ready to solve customers’ logistics tasks.
The company offers end-to-end solutions for the entire logistics process, from planning and implementation to continuous monitoring and improvement of solutions. This frees up your time so you can fully focus on your core business.
Coordinating delivery quantities and dates between the supply chain is also part of their service, acting as the vital link between the customer and the end user. The company also has 10,000 square metres of open space, 2,000 square metres of warehouses, 500 square metres of covered storage space and 600 metres of siding with various loading options.
A belief that progress creates the future
At Andryk Logistik GmbH, we strive to offer a service that is at the top shelf of quality. This cannot be achieved by doing business as usual. That’s why the company is focused on implementing new technology to maintain their company’s position as one of the leading players in both the national and international transportation and logistics scene. Their latest move has come about through a collaboration with EUROPART, which has led to the installation of the first set of 110Wp solar panels on one of the company’s MAN -TGX 18.510 trucks.
Oliver Böcher, technician at Green Energy, was present at the installation and met Stephan Haas, management assistant at Andryk Logistik GmbH, to talk about why they have chosen to install solar panels on their fleet. “In our industry, you have to think ahead and there is a focus on a greener transportation industry. That’s why we were very interested in your products after the good product advice we received. Here is a solution that can help on several parameters to achieve a greener profile. With the installation, we expect to be able to reduce wear and tear on the generator in the trucks, as our drivers avoid idling to keep power on the battery. This in turn results in fuel savings. We reduce our CO2 emissions, so there were no negative arguments against going that route. The plan is to equip the entire fleet with your products,” concludes Stephan Haas
We congratulate Andryk Logistik GmbH on the first installation.
